"For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me. Then these righteous ones will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?' Then the King will say, 'I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you where doing it to me!'"

La Segunda Dia

Hello Everyone! We're had a great couple of days - as you can see below in the post by Kimmie and Kate, we had a really tiring first day and a really productive second day as Matt's post talks about. We have a little over 100 people here at La Villa Gracia, and the projects we take on everyday range from visiting hositpitals and orphanages to digging out mountain sides and building houses. In the morning our mission leader - Mark Connell, who is a really cool guy - gives a list of projects and everyone has a choice of what they want to do that day. It really allows everyone to strengthing their weaknesses and explore their strengths. Well it's time to get to bed - make sure to read Matt's post!

Truthfully I don't know where to start. The day was unbelievable! I can only explain it by saying we had a good day. We built 2 houses today and the accomplishments were priceless.

There are so many thoughts going through my head at this time. I feel bad, great, jealous, guilty, and God working hard. My prayer for this trip was for God to break my heart and rebuild it and day 1 I know he has started. Seeing the kids and the families faces were just amazing. I know that the day was day 1 and there is still many days left but HE has many plans left for me.

I'm not a blogger so I don't know how to write to you, but this mission trip is ROCKING!!!!!!
